Monika Dutta

Monika Dutta is an interdisciplinary artist whose works include film, expanded and live cinema, installation, public realm intervention, and performative events. She make works incorporating lens-based and digital media, photography, drawing, sculptural processes, constructed textiles, and yarn and needle crafts.  Monika has a strong and long-established track record of facilitatory practice, working with a wide range of communities and across varied contexts.

She is attracted to projects that recognise the value of creative approaches to social understanding via the remit of creative process and production, and initiatives that open opportunities to those who are ordinarily marginalised or underrepresented.
