Reena Jasiah

Reena Jasiah is a Multi-Disciplinary Community Arts practitioner from the Coventry. Reena connects with various organisations to create a platform of stories from hard-to-reach communities. Her passion is break silence on social issues, voice taboos and promote social justice through arts and theatre.

Reena is a Trauma informed practitioner with a specialist in arts and has worked with families and young people to give pain a voice. She has collaborated with newly arrived communities, done in-reach projects in prisons, and has worked with those caught up in sex trafficking and addictions. Her work includes audio art installations, theatre performances and work with book publications and radio.

Reena’s endeavours have been recognised by the Royal Society of Arts and she was awarded Citizen of the year for her work that bought community cohesion.
