Stuart Thomson

Stuart (he/him) is a freelance Stage Manager for theatre and live performance. Born in Brunei, he moved to the UK in 2015, and is a recent Drama graduate from the University of East Anglia. After working on several National Youth Theatre productions, and juggling work as a techie and a cook at the Crewe Lyceum, he moved to London and built up a pool of causal and freelance work as a technician, stage crew, and stage manager. Stuart was recently Tech Swing on his first international tour, Friendsical, until Covid-19 shut everything down in March.

Stuart is now living in Leeds, helping to care for his family. Whilst grateful for a break, he is eagerly awaiting the return of theatre. Stuart is also very grateful to be joining the mentoring and coaching opportunity by Maya Productions, and Stage Sight.
