Born and raised in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, Assen moved to the UK at 17 to pursue his passion for theatre. After completing a BA in Theatre and Performance and a PGCE to become a qualified teacher, Assen began his professional journey as a Stage Manager in Plymouth. His career then expanded across the Southwest and nationally.
