In 2024, Súper Chefs goes national! Join Manny and his family as they sing and dance their way around the kitchen and across the country!

Súper Chefs is Maya Productions’ bi-lingual, interactive Latin American family musical by Betsy Picart with original music by Ariel Cubría, exploring family relationships, food, and gender roles. It is aimed at children aged 4 to 8, their families, and school audiences.
6-year-old Manny is bursting with excitement at the thought of preparing a welcome home dinner for his dad Tony, who’s on a work trip for his new job. Together with his mum, professional chef Valeria, his granny Abuela Alma, and his superhero companion Mighty Mujer, he is planning to cook a family meal of arepas, guacamole, and delicious brigadeiros for dessert.
Through dancing, singing and cooking, Súper Chefs explores food, family, and gender roles in a Latin American family. The production has interactive elements where audiences sing, dance and make food alongside the performers, inspiring a new dialogue between audiences and the show.
The show is accompanied by workshops and educational resources for primary school children and teachers following the KS1 PSHE curriculum.
