Marie McAndrew

Marie is a musical director, arranger, teacher and multi-instrumentalist originally from Ireland and based in the UK. She is a graduate of Leeds Conservatoire, completing a Master’s Degree in Musical Direction in 2023, where she specialised in actor-musician work and piano-accompaniment. Recent work has included Assistant Musical Director for “42 Balloons” (The Lowry, Salford) and Musical Director for the Anton Benson Production of the pantomime “Jack and the Beanstalk” (Oldham).

Prior to this, Marie worked as a secondary school music teacher in Ireland for 14 years and has extensive experience working as a session musician, playing a number of instruments, including piano, keyboards, organ, guitar, drums, ukulele, button accordion and bass guitar.
